Cindy Springsteen And Consumer Porfolio Services This is a company to watch out for, they rip off their customers, have no ethics and stalk and harrass their customers. Orlando Florida
Consumer Portfolio Services is a secondary loan company, which is funded by investors. They thrive on the middle to lower class individuals and do their best to not educate their customers when inquiries arise. They change their policies on a frequent basis and never notify their customers with these changes.
I have been a customer with them for the past 3 years and I have been counting down the days when this nightmare will end. Back in October I had some financial hardships after being let go from my company and I called in to speak with a manager so that I could explain my situation and request some assistance.
The person that I got was a supervisor name Shavita Lewis who from the start was very rude. I tried asking for assistance due to my current situation but she insisted on talking over me and wouldn't let me speak to someone higher than her, so I requested that they come and pick up my car and then I hung up the phone. A few seconds later, my phone rang and a lady named Cindy Springsteen addressed me.
At first she sounded like she genuinely wanted to help me but then she also became rude, she told me that I needed to stop blaming unemployment for lack of car payments and get with the times, I then attempted to explain my situation but she again kept talking down to me. After realizing that this wasn't going anywhere I just requested that they come and pick up the vehicle, to my surprise she said that we don't want the vehicle we want the money and we'll garnish your wages if we have to so that your children can suffer and then she ended the call.
At this point I decided to contact a legal advisor to see what the states laws were and to see what exactly what my options were. For the next two weeks, everyday I would have at least 5 threatening voicemails from these people saying the most horrific things attacking my character and my life. I took their vehicle to a carmax and traded it in and financed with another company.
Whoever is reading this, be aware of these people and their company. They have gone into my bank account without my permission and took funds out, they've tricked me into giving me info over the phone which has cause me financial strain, the stories just don't end with these people. This is my experience I hope yours will be nonexistent.
