I have been purchasing bats from CIS Athletic supply for 3 years simply because I trusted the salesman they had, the service provided and the way they stood behind the product they sold.

This year I contacted the office of CIS to get ahold of the salesman that had sold us bats, and spoke to a gentleman named Mikale, I later came to find out he was the owner Bob Egr's son, anyway I told them the louisville slugger bat I wanted and to have the salesman call me.

I waited a week with no return call, so I called back and addressed this with Mikale and he told me the salesman was out due to surgery, what bat did I want he could handle it. I placed my order it came about 28 days later, My son used it for 4 months and it broke, I tried on numerous times to contact Mikale and CIS Athletic supply via phone and email and in turn simply asking for a reciept or help to send it in for warranty purposes, this is the response I got 5 weeks later:

We only sale the bats we do not warranty them you will have to go through the manufacturer. No I found this to be untrue, since their salesman had always helped me in the past, so I tried to contact Mr. Egr the owner and no response either.

I finally got my credit card company to send me a copy of the charges from CIS athletic supply and used it for the warranty and did it all myself with no help from CIS Athletic supply.

My son also played with a team that had problems this year with uniforms being on time, the logo was not done correctly as well as mispelling of the names, my son's team was from Urbandale and we take pride in the way we look, play the game we love and the service we recieve.

I recently ran into the salesman who originally got our business to got to CIS Athletic supply and he informed me he was no longer with them, I in turn informed he how this Mikale had blamed everything on him with the uniform problems as well as the bat.

He just smiled and laughed, which showed me I had been getting played as a fool by Mikale and the CIS staff, it is evident they do not stand behind their product, nor will they, I will never do business with someone who does not care about their customers, and I would advise no one else do so, if you want customer service since they will not provide it.

I was the salesman for CIS athletic supply and yes there were a few orders the printers may have made errors on, but at no time did we not correct them or compensate the team with additional items for free, and we never missed a timeline.

Furthermore, the reason I left the CIS family was because it was simpler for them to go to online sales since they have other projects that they have working and did not have time to support all the orders.

In closing do not post BS about me or why I left, furthermore, CIS treated customers well for I went above and beyond to deliver all hours of the day, night weekends you name it, and I was their salesman.

In House orders that were done, I also delivered to the printer and made sure they were correct.

Sitting behind your computer and making stories up and slandering someone's reputation is childish, pick up the phone call me , call CIS and we could easily assist you with whatever problem you had.

 

Stop the Lies and get over it, this is not the way to handle business correctly!

I have done quite a bit with the sales staff at CIS athletic supply, in any matter I have always been treated fair and have placed alot of orders with their former salesman, which I understand is on his own now.

I have never worked with the individuals listed, but I have worked with their salesman, and like I said was treated fairly, I have heard from numerous teams in our age group that this individual mentioned is the reason they do not have a salesman anymore, as well as I have heard numerous complaints from some of the parents from teams he did fan gear for.

All I can say is maybe they should stick to running tournaments only.

My Team did uniforms with the same individual and what a nightmare, I asked for samples he constantly ordered the wrong sizes as well as wrong items, it took me three months to get them, I dealt with Mikale Egr, I know his father personally and have yet to discuss this with him, but we will NEVER go back to them.

The kid Mikale seems to be busy to give a customer the time, and it upsells everything he sales to make more money, when his salesman did the uniforms last year we saved money, this year the hats for example went from $15 to $22 and we were told it was due to mark up, one call told me different.

 

Stay Clear, they run excellent tournaments but that is it, go to scheels or hopkins if you want uniforms.
