First off, all trial periods are 7 days long. I highly doubt you were told it was a 3 day trial, or a 5 day for that matter as well. I would call and try to have the recording of the conversation pulled if you were actualy told that by them. Next thing is, the easiest way to get out of a contract is by performing a change of responsibility. If you can find someone to take over the account, either by finding a family member or friend who pretty much just browses the internet/checks email rather than heavy downloading, they would probably be happy with the service. Clearwire isn't picky about how you come across another person either (so you can post adds on craigslist). Also, they will usually give a perk to the person taking over the account, like a preloaded credit card with 50 dollars or so, call them and find out what specials they are running, and post it in the add. Another point of advice, don't cancel your card, it will only continue to charge to the account, then be forwarded to collections. Then on top of that 250 ETF you mentioned, would be the 200 dollar cost of the non-returned equipment. So unless you want your credit score to get punched in the face, I would post on craigslist. Anyway, hope this helps you a bit, and good luck! :)
