Collect Pros LLC Tried to collect bogus charges for bogus skin care company Pacoima CA
Several months ago, my wife, who has Alsheimer's disease, ordered what she thought was a free trial of a skin care product from a supplier named Revitol.(also in Ripoff Report) This subsequently turned out to be a scam, where they automatically immediately begin sending you more of the product and charging outrageous amiounts against your credit card. We contacted the Bank of America fraud unit, who refunded us the money for this obvious scam. We also cancelled the card.
Then, just recently we received a notice from Collect Pros, LLC, demanding that we pay them $84.9 dollars owed to Revitol. (Thats right 84.9, no cents?) A little online research revealed that Collect Pros has no corporate or credit history themselves (they are ghosts), and the company address they give is for a bay in a warehouse building with no sign out front. From other Ripoff Reports, it looks like these guys are working with several of these online cosmetic scamers.
