Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I have filed several assult charges against my husband Paul Reynolds, but because he knows how to play the system, he has learned to call the police first as I am driving away, or persuade the police, that I am the one at fault. The community property law states that anything owned prior to the marriage stays with the owner. So every time the police would come, they would never make him leave. I ended up at the Hope's Door Domestic Violence Womens shelter thinking he would be gone. But when I got out, he was still there.

I have several CSI photos to back up all of my assult charges. One time Paul hit me up side of my head. I couldn't remember which side it was, so the Plano police thought I was making it up! I told the police officer, Paul out weights me at least 100 lbs or so, I went flying across the room and under the bed, have YOU ever be hit like that, I am sorry I am a little confused. So in their report they didn't believe me. They would not file the assult charges. Another time when we lived in Farmersville, which is still in Collin County, Paul bore down on one knee with a shot gun and aim at me, we had been chasing the horses because they got out. He had thrown a rope around my neck and then popped me on the back of the leg with a chain lead rope. I ran to get some quick belongings out of the house and grabbed the two hand guns and headed down our 1000 ft driveway.

I was headed straight for the police station to file an assult charge but he was smart enought to call them first. When I got their they arrested me for Unlawful carrying of a weapon. I made them take CSI photos and file a report. Once again the assult charges were dropped. I have since been told "they were in self defense" Since I have this UCW charge against me I can not get a protective order against him. There is not continuety between the DA's office and the Plano's Police Department. The DA's office didn't even know a thing about the other cases. It is absolutety rediculous. So he made me move to Indiana with him.

Thank God my hearing is October 1st. Please Pray for me and hopefully I will be able to save enough money to get my things out of the uhaul storge and come back to MY house that I own with my VA loan in Plano. I could continue to tell story after story of all of the abuse, the busting of my nose, the throwing me around and leaving bruises, it just keeps going on and on.

Hopefully I will be a advocate one day. This is only the begining. But Collin County and The Plano Police Department, Specifically Detective Gonzolas who is in the Family Violence need serious training. Thank you for listening and I pray that this doesn't happen to any of you. When a women finally comes forward, she should feel protected by the law. COLLIN COUNTY YOU HAVE FAILED ME. I was a teacher in Allen for several year too.

My daughter was the victim of a stalker and one of those police departments was involved, along with another. We got the same run around that you are getting. The matter was resolved when we bypassed all of the local yokels and made a complaint to the governor's office. Consequently, a Texas Ranger (that doesn't play baseball) was assigned to the case. He dealt with the local yokels, forcing them to file and act on the charges. After a $300,000 bail, which the stalker couldn't make, he got 10 years. Go straight to the Rangers and have this taken care of.

Somehow I doubt very seriously that this is all of the story. The State of Texas has a Law that the Police shall/can make an arrest if they see no signs of visible injurys(since 1985). They(Police/Sheriff) cannot drop charges nor can you. Its up to the DA's office. The State files the case not you. So this is why this story is truly hard to beleive. Oh, regardless if he had the house before you were married/living together its both yours now. The police cannot make anyone of you leave. So all of the Police Dept is corrupt because of this? I doubt very seriously. Call the DA's office and express you concern or just LEAVE HIM! Protective order has nothing to do with whether or not you have a UCW charge on you or not. READ IT. Obviously you have spent time at Shelters and THAT TO is hard to believe noone was a Liason with the DA's office on such matters. Sound like you have been with him for awhile and want the POLICE/DA'S office to give you answers where it seems in your complaint that you choose not to leave him. I guess he Kidnapped you across State lines to Indiana. Quit wasting Law Enforcement's Time and Resources and do your part. after all you married him.
