Lets be real here, if you are reading this post then you have read the other 100 negative posts about this guy. I dont want to make this long because i will just be repeating what everyone else is saying but i need to write something to save everyone else the hassle as well as save puppies lives. I dealt with Doug for 3 months, signed a contract for a male puppy out of KK and Denero litter. He was great until i put my 500$ deposit down and then everything changed. At the 4 week mark of when the puppy was born he told me to come meet the puppy. I scheduled 4 appointments with him all in which he cancelled. Finally 2 weeks later i was able to go see the what was suppose to be a 6 week old puppy yet it looked maybe 3 weeks old. It was not socialized at all! When i pet the neck of the puppy it would twitch because it was not used to being held or picked up. The puppy also looked unhealthy with a runny nose and very small. Anyway long story short i got to the point where i just said screw it and even though i know i wasnt getting the puppy that i wanted that we agreed upon i would take it strictly to save the dogs life. The next week he told me to come up again to see the puppy yet i already knew what i was getting myself into. The next week i called him, more excuses and cancelled appointments. Week 8, 3 days before i go to pick up the puppy i call him and he says 2 puppies have died and the other are sick so he wont be able to release them to public.... Funny thing is, is that he never had the puppies from KK and Denero to begin with and if he did he already sold them to someone else for more money. The puppies he showed me were not 6 weeks old im not stupid. He then tells me oh im really sorry blah blah you can have a puppy from the next litter.... I would rather jump off a clif then have to deal with this guy for another 4 weeks, get excited and then be let down....
The saddest part about all of this is that he has so many dogs in basically a garage, it is like a puppy mill and he is strictly there for the money! Please do not do what i did and please do your reserach before you go through this guy. It makes a huge different when you get a breeder who cares about the puppies rather than the money.. They ask you questions to make sure that you are the right fit for the puppy not the other way around... There is much more that i can add on to this into why this guy was hell to deal with but i will Just allow you to read all of the other posts about what this guy has done.
