I unfortunately worked for this company as an "Admissions Advisor". There are over 1000 Admissions Advisors for them. Admissions Advisor is equal to Glorified Telemarketer. Everytime I enrolled someone in this crappy school I felt like I was ripping them off. In the admissions process they ask you tons of questions.....then the last question to the prospective student is "Why should you be accepted to Colorado Technical University Online?" All Admissions Advisors are coached to say "THAT IS A GREAT ANSWER!" No matter what the answer is. The most important thing for the Admissions Advisor to get is the $50 Application fee. Now here is the kicker....about 98% of the Admissions Advisors are criminals and gang bangers (no I am niether). There was a guy that worked there, his name escapes me, but he killed his family and then ran off to Florida to hide...he was caught. Then there was an Admissions Advisor by the name of Janet Slewinski, she got drunk, drove 100mph down the street and rear ended a car in front of her in a suicide attempt...she survived but she killed 3 members of a local music band. Then we have Christopher Sunryder, another admissions advisor. Before I tell you about him, I need to tell you that according to CTU Online/Career Education Corp, everyone's internet activity is monitored. (This I know is a crock of crap! I used to surf all sorts of internet sites and no one ever said anything). Now on to Christopher Sunryder, he was an Admissions Advisor at CTU....He was downloading child porn to his computer at work. Thank god he got arrested!! Sick creep!! So basically, CTU employees criminals and gang bangers. And the degree is not even worthy of using as toilet paper! Do yourself a favor and attend a real school.

To original poster... I have no doubt in my mind that the company and school sucks, but my only assumption from your post is that you were fired from there because you couldn't uphold your quota of telemarketing. I hate to break it to you, but telemarketing is a booming business and people still fall for their ploys, so the business continues to thrive.

You do realize that slander is illegal in most juristictions right? You do realize that spreading false written rumors is punishable by law? I'm not sure about the Janet Slewinski story, but you may want to get your facts straight about the Christopher Sunryder story. "He was downloading child porn to his computer at work" is a false statement as you can very easily find out that there was no content like this of any kind found on his work computer. Next time you get arrested for doing something you had nothing to do with, I certainly hope karma comes around to you. Enjoy your life.
*Note* I am not the individual I refered to in my rebutle, nor am I in any way associated with the individual. I simply followed the case as I am a law student interested in the corrupt workings of our current system that allows for anyone to accuse anyone of anything and get away with it. "Innocent until proven guilty" ?... not any more my friends.
