In spending a couple years researching all these online programs, and my wife already receiving one degree from another school and continuing on with CTU on a dual degree program, what you describe makes no sense to be honest. I do not know why you quit your program, because as in anything business, you signed a contractual obligation and you ended that prematurely (penalized) and are due to pay costs during that time you cost the school. As far as your tax forms for previous years, YES, that is a financial aid requirment (annually) to see your financial situation and how and if you place to receive federal loans, etc as we are here for my wife's schooling the last couple years. As all these loans are deferred until 6 months after she finally leaves college education and then must be repaid upon then. There may be other problems I do not udnerstand here and yes you have recourse if anything unethical occurs, but a school receiving federal loan monies cannot if you discontinue a program either as that would be fraud on the school's part. Right now, the only complaint my wife has, is the CTU online program to use is not as easily user friendly as the previous college she attended 2 years before and not as interactive as she was used to, but she is working hard to get through this and will have 3 separate degrees this time next year to elevate herself and our financial situation for our family to move on to better opportunities not in this region of western, NC..
