It's true people. CTU's Financial Aid department and some of the higher ups as well as their parent company are in fact committing fraud on a daily basis. Here's how. When the students there get their funds from the lenders and grants from the Feds etc. CTU then instead of refunding the remaining ballance immediately or within the legal by law set in stone type of deal where it's 2-3 business days, they keep it for 14 days or longer in some cases, channel it through hidden accounts that are allegedly "student accounts" linked to these "cards" used by this phony made up bank called "higher one" and then supposedly they can get their "refunds" that way or opt out of the card and have it direct deposited into an account of their chosing the student that is but it still has to be routed through higher one. CTU for a fact is making interest on that money pers student, per account, per stipend refund all the time. Isn't that fraud to be earning interest on another person's money? Fact is myself and many students had a post on CTU'S own interal message board linked from the accounts link and the community links off of their virtual campus online but CTU seems to have taken that particular posting down. This student highered lawyers, studied the law chapter and verse and code by code, even called the IRS and others, lenders, etc. and all of them stated that the FA and CTU was breaking the law. So yes we are in the process of having it all investigated and we will be filing a class action law suit against CTU and their FA very soon.

I am one who inquired about Colorado Tech Online. I almost enrolled , however decided to look into it a little further. Stumbling onto an article from the New York Times claimed many things and supposedly they are being investigated. Sorry I can't say more about it till i find the article again. I think they are put on hold from purchasing additional schools. I expressed my concern to them about what I have read and they denied no such thing was going on. The guy fumbled everything out of his mouth and could barely speak in complete sentences. Possibly as a result of putting it on the line. After tellign them I wanted more time to investigate them based on these claims I was put in touch with his Admissions guy ( the whole thing is questionable) and I expressed to him I needed time to find out if these claims are true. And all he said was you won't find anything and that we have deadlines to meet and that I had missed mine ( oh well)and that he had other people to work with ( i'm not a dog in a puppy mill) I was not gonna go through and pay the application fee and find out to be accepted just to find out later that (if these claims are true) they lose their accredidated status what would that mean. The whole thing in the way they conducted themselves seems to prove to some degree that it may be true of what is claimed. Until I relocate the article again I ask that rippoffreport look into this to find out whether or not this University is in trouble. The only thing i can say is that research these people and all before committing. I'm glad I was able to pick up on this ahead of time.

Also they charged me $50 and said that I would only have to pay if I was accepted. Can I get my money back and is there a lawyer interested.
