ColorCars Sold me a poor quailty used car under warranty Nokomis Florida
I was going to buy a car from Sunset Chevrolet but was lured away by John Early of ColorCars in Nokomis, FL. He led me to believe that he would sell me a quality used vehicle under warranty and that his company is committed to good customer service.
I bought a SUV from ColorCars and started having problems with it within one day after taking delivery. I brought the matters to the attention of the owner, John Early III, and he told me that the vehicle was under warranty and for me to take it to the Chevrolet dealer to get it fixed.
In the following months the air compressor had to be replaced, the exhaust syatem hdd to be replaced, the passenger side electric window had to be repaired, the power steering had to be fixed, the battery had to be replaced, and various cosmetic things on the interior such ad air conditioner vents had to be replaced and or fixed. After doing some investigating, I later found out that the vehicle was previously a lease / rental vehicle.
I was not informed of this at the time of sale. I am very disapointed that I did business with this company and will not do any sort of business with them in the future.
I wished that I had bought my vehicle from Sunset Chevrolet in Sarasota, FL, like I had planned to do in the first palce. They were the ones that made sure all of the defects got fixed and that I had rides to and from the dealer every time I had to take it in for repairs. Sunset Chevrolet saved me from disaster, I should have bought my car from them.
