I last ordered on the internet (BIG MISTAKE!) by clicking on a "buy 1 CD get two free selections" offer. After selecting my first CD I was prompted to chose a FREE one. I selected a CD that had a "FREE" icon beside it. The website then told me I could chose another FREE CD. Again, I chose one that had a "FREE" icon beside it.
Never, never did the website tell me that the 2 additional selections were anything but FREE. When I received the CDs, I was charged for the 1st and 3rd.
In Canada you can e-mail to a general e-mail address that goes to various 'customer service' reps in cubicle land. I have e-mailed them at least 15 times telling them I will not pay for the 3rd CD (except tax & shipping) as their website is deceptive and misleading. They send me back inane explanations telling me, "we're sorry we won't adjust your billing but you are entitled to another free CD; e-mail us with your selection." UGHHHH!!!!!! Meanwhile, they send my invoices complete with late charges!
The most frustrating part is that each 'customer service' rep e-mail ends with, "Thank you for your e-mail and if we may be of further service...."
As in the U.S., the Canadian outfit has no telephone #'s to talk to live humans. IF YOU ARE THINKING OF JOINING, DON'T!! Their prices are high, their service isn't, their music is old. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY BANK OR CREDIT CARD INFO - YOU WILL BE SORRY.....!
