This topic may be deserving of a new thread. The FBAA has been reported to be propping up many Companies running scams as legitimate. Two of note that have many complaints on this board: JMW Financial, and National Capital Funding Group LLC Both of these companies are run by the same family, James and Shelia Wright, at the same address in Mesa AZ. The FBAA is masquerading as a consumer advocacy venture posting ratings' and evaluations of companies just like the Better Business Bureau. Their primary purpose seems to be catering to Companies that already have poor ratings with the BBB. Some Logos at their site may represent legitimate companies with a good track record in an effort to prop up the FBAA itself as legitimate. The FBAA facilitates these companies to deceive consumers. Several companies posted with the FBAA presently or in the recent past have been investigated or are in the courts with both State and Federal Regulatory agencies. In some cases companies affiliated with them have been sued by the Federal Trade Commission. In an effort to research this company further I was overwhelmed by the shear volume of bad news about the FBAA and their affiliates and decided request the start a thread dedicated to them. Some will know me from The National Capital Funding Group' Thread. NCFC is just one of the companies that the FBAA has posted in Good Standing' regardless of the huge volume of complaints that can be found on this company all over the net. Victims that posted complaints on NCFG at other boards have reported that the FBAA doesn't seem to have effective procedure in place for consumers to file a complaint against companies posted and rated by them. The FBAA wants establish itself as a Bermuda Triangle' of sorts where consumer complaints just disappear and companies posted there can maintain their Member in Good Standing' rating. This one company can pose a problem to many people that have been victimized by scammers. I am looking forward to hear any feed back.
