Consumer First ripoff refusing to give refund after package was returned Tampa Florida
I recieved an application for a Platinum credit card. I was already approved all I had to do was pay the $45.00. I sent my check in and later received a package with a catalog a c/c and order forms.
I was expecting a real credit card, this one could only be used with this catalog. So I called the number on the letter it took me two days to get through because I was only getting a busy signal, they didn't even provide a 800 number to call.
I finally get through I told them I did not want to be a member of this and wanted my money back. they said I had to send them back the stuff. So I put it in a larger envelope and sent it back everything except what the folder that it was in because with the folder it did not fit.
It has now been two months. I just called and they said that I will not get a refund because I did not send the folder back. So for the little bit of money that it cost for the folder they will not give me my money back when they got the catalog the order forms and the credit card back.
A little folder now has cost me $45.00.
I want my money back.
