Consumer Vending, Cookie Machine Poor Business Ethics, Low Quality Product RIPOFF Internet San Diego California
I wanted to have the niche in the vending franchise world, found Consumer vending. The Gourmet Cookie Machine idea they have sounded great. Susan Alton, The sales lady said they have an interview process that limits affiliates. Susan gave me 2 other affiliates phone numbers, which I called to get their perspectives. They told me how easy this business manages itself, which was what I wanted, a weekend business. Susan said there are a limited number of machined being produced, to keep value up.
Well I sent my $12,000 franchise free and another $6,000 for 5 machines and cookies. THE cookies are prepacked. Unfortunately, Susan also said how easy it is to place machines, listed as novelty machines, here in San Diego. Well for all the broke cookies, that cannot go int machines, lousy placement of machines, Susan's list of suggested locations, and theft, I have nothing but a huge loss.
I have tried to contact Susan, she will not return my calls. I have tried to contact Corp, but the contract I have with them does not list Corp information. What a rip off scam business, anyone else that is thinking about getting into this franchise should walk away.
