Where do I begin with Core Health? Well, for starters I was looking for affordable health insurance, because I did not realize my current health insurance was deactivated. A broke name Mr. Chad Roberts called me and told me about the affordable plan that CORE Health has for me. He told me I would only be paying the amount of $192 a month. Nothing more. Nothing less. I was perfectly fine with that. I was also told that I would be receiving all my information via mail with my insurance card and prescription card.

Well, everything come to find out is online when I called them yesterday and was on the phone for 2 HOURS!!! Customer service couldn't answer any of my SIMPLE questions. I was constantly getting transferred to a CASE MANGER. Who was not helpful at all. I couldn't comprehend why I need to call someone to schedule MY DOCTORS appointments, when I am perfectly capable of making those appointments myself; considering I know how my schedule is and these people DO NOT!! Well, I was told I have to go through these people in order to coordinate doctors and hospital visits or else they will not pay anything if I do not. So, after that i expressed my frustration and the case manger "DEE" was pretty much laughing at me and could careless about how I felt about this. That was all phone call 1. Phone call 2 is another story!!!

After finally getting my member ID and password i was able to log onto the portal and access everything. Well, while browsing the site I notice I have AUTO and LIFE INSURANCE tacked onto my health insurance. While trying to understand this, I received an email from SIMPLE HEALTH that they deducted $119 from my account (2/26/2018). Well, now I am HEATED. I call customer service again to figure out why the heck this amount got debited from my account!! I was transferred to "DEE" again who took almost as 1/2 hour putting me on hold and coming back to tell me that I am paying a $119 for AUTO AND LIFE INSURANCE!!! I kindly told me to take this off my policy!! She told me I was NOT allowed to take this off my policy. Now, the conversation got heated. I never authorized for this company to take out this amount from bank account! I was never told I was going to be paying an additional $119 for AUTO and LIFE INSURANCE!! I do not need these two things on my policy. I only needed health insurance. Well, I told her I wanted my money credited back to me of the $119 that I never authorized to be taken out! To my knowledge I was only aware of the $192 that would be taken out. Not an additional $119! Once all said was done with "DEE" who once again was not helpful and laughing at me for everything. I called my back and explained to them what was going on. They never heard of this company and didn't understand why she couldn't credit my money back to me. My bank had to a stop to taking of additional funds from this company. She thinks that I am being scammed and helped me try to sort things out before taking further action against this company. She didn't like how there are more than ONE bank taking money out of my account. There should only be ONE bank taking money out when it comes to auto-pay. Not multiple. I have my bank monitoring my account in case they try to get out more money without authorization.

This company and their brokers are uneducated workers. They do not know how to answer simple questions. They put you on hold. I've only had them since the beginning of Feb 2018! Side Note: I have put in three phone calls to Mr. Chad Richards and have yet to receive a phone call back. His phone line is now disconnected.
