Please Dearheart, I have been in Customer Service for over 40 Years. Tthis Company has some major issues, I don't even care about the money at this point (got my copy of calls placed) but for you to actually say that Dialing 800-844-6591 and it will be right to an agent? Any time I have ever called it goes right to this Schpeel about automated payments Yada Yada Yada and you hold. Granted it has been 5 months since I have had to contemplate dealing with anyone from your company. And if You looked at my report you would see the same # you just layed out. Even you have to admit that there are Several things that could be improved within this company, ALL companies can improve. And PLEASE dont go with the well they are in Jail its a Privilege. Dont ya'll BID on contracts you dont care who, what or why. evercom needs to inject some cash into this co. I'm calling right now, what an improvement; so when did this happen? wonder if the multiple letters to the FCC and PSC had anything to do with it? Cause in feb of this year it was in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM CLOSE TO THIS. I got an Agent because I have Jacked you with SS # so many times you have no clue what would REALLY be the last 4 of mine. This is still a Point with me. I Pre-payed. No reason to have that, I can give you words what ever kind of code but NO you DO NOT need or get Any of my SS #. security my Butt. Just one more place with some of my #s. This you will Never get! but the service seems to have improved. Cheers!

The reason your calls aren't disconnected immediately is for two reasons: 1. Halfway through your call CBS doesn't want it to end suddenly, so they will not cut a call off in the middle of it if a balance is used. 2. Calls are not posted to the account until the next business day. So if you had $.50 left in your account, and you accepted 2 calls that add up to $3.50, you will have a negative balance of $3 that will just come out of your account the next time you make a payment. It's called courtesy, not a rip off. By the way, as a Correctional Billing Services phone operator myself, I can certainly assure you I am a human. I do hope you are calling 1-800-844-6591 (1-800-THINK91) and pressing 0 to speak to an operator like it suggests. Hope to hear from you soon,
