After filling out my report on 10-27-05, I decided to close the credit card I used just in case they made any other charges. Ironically, right after I got off the phone, I check my email and found a refund receipt from Costume Hut. With all that I have been through I didn't want to get my hopes up ... for all I knew, it was a fake refund. However, I checked my account today 11-01-05, and the refund showed up. I emailed them constantly ([email protected] and [email protected]). Perhaps my relentless correspondence drove them crazy or made them uneasy. I feel extremely fortunate. I still plan on warning everyone I know about these shameless, money stealing websites.
