The other replies are correct - it is a civil matter and the company can really do no more than contact him and tell him that you want him to call you.
Hopefully since your post you have the matter ended with the best outcome (I know that it has
been a great while since your post). I do hope that you are doing great now and that GOD has blessed you in many new ways.

THE scumbag in question "DAVID PARKER" does not own that rip-off company know to the world as "COVENANT TRANSPORT". It is owned by stockholders, but that jerk has ran the stock price into the ground. RIP OFF STAR TRANSPORTATION FOLLOWING THE ORDERS FROM THEIR UNSCRUPULOUS POSSESSOR COVENANT TRANSPORT PASSED DOWN THIS MANDATE . STAR TRANSPORTATION DECEMBER 19, 2008 Effective January 1, 2009, Star Transportation will implement a new policy to reduce idle time. All tractors will have a standard of 30% idle time or less. Any idle time over 30% will be charged back to the driver at 3.00 per hour...Bill Harris v.p operations....... What? Is this just a cruel Christmas gag? It can't be a Christmas bonus that ended years ago when our small dash stick-on calendar was cut out. So my friend that means if you drive 10 hours you now have been awarded 3 hours for heating your truck! Per day you might ask? No that's 3 hours for the next 2 or 3 days, when you hopefully will get another load on the way for your impressive 1200 mile payday. Fuel at 2.50 a gallon and our trucks using less than a gallon an hour, this seems to be the best money making plot coming out of the NASHVILLE BRAIN TRUST in some time. This is the most arrogant RIPOFF I've heard in the trucking industry, charging a driver laid over or a driver on his 10 break 3.00 per hour for heat. We all know the parent company of Star is covenant transport ripping off their employees must be their true covenant a company with a reputation of a wet turd. It is whispered in warm halls of Nashville the next scheme is renting the driver the steering wheel. Oh yeah I almost forgot: STAR TRANSPORTATION IS NOW HIRING EXPERENCE DRIVERS AND TRAINEES1-800-333-3060 ask for bill..p.s. please bring loads of blankets and your own dash calendar. GOOD LUCK ALL. YOU WILL NEED IT WITH THESE SCUMBAGS.

I feel sorry for you I truly do, but only to a point. Why is it Covenant transports fault that your ex is a low life, or that you were to foolish enough allow him to do this to you? You say you supported him for an entire year so why on earth would you buy him a car if he hasn't had a job in a year. Also why would you pay for his trip to orientation instead of telling him tough s**t get on the bus if you didn't have enough money? I was also in that orientation that started on June 9th so I am kind of curious what he looks like. Don't blame covenant it's not their fault or their problem that you allowed yourself to be used by some guy. If every company refused to continue employment of someone because of a problem with an ex boyfriend/girlfriend no one would have any employees. Get yourself a lawyer and sue the guy, but don't expect any company to get involved in someone's personal affairs. Good luck to you, and I hope everything works out in the end.

THREE THINGS: 1.IT'S COVENANT'S POLICY NOT TO GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION ON THEIR DRIVERS TO ANYONE THAT HAS NOT BEEN PREARRANGED BY YOUR BOYFRIEND AND THAT CAN INCLUDE FAMILY MEMBERS,ALSO GIRLFRIENDS. SO THEY HAVE A RIGHT TO REFUSE YOU ANY INFORMATION. 2.THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY,MR. DAVID PARKER,HAS MADE MANY PUBLIC STATEMENTS IN THE PAST THAT HE OPERATES HIS COMPANY BY THE BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES OF "INTEGRITY,HONESTY,AND RESPECT" OF WHICH YOU'LL FIND OUT,AS MANY FORMER AND PRESENT DRIVERS HAVE, THAT IT'S NOTHING MORE THAN LIP SERVICE. IF HE TRULY OPERATED HIS COMPANY BY THOSE BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES,HE WOULD NOT ALLOW HIS COMPANY TO OPERATE THE WAY IT DOES OR RUIN THE LIVES OF HIS PRESENT AND PAST DRIVERS AS A TRUE CHRISTIAN WOULD NOT ALLOW ANY CONTEMPTIBLE PRACTICES TO GO ON. SO DON'T EXPECT ANY COMPASSION OVER YOUR SITUATION. 3. TAKE YOUR "boyfriend" TO COURT AND SUE HIM. GET HIS WAGES GARNISHED AND GET YOUR MONEY BACK.
