In New York State the lemon law warranty was designed for used cars. So as I said I am protected. In some cases if you don't fall within the given time frame the lemon law warranty will be void. In this case all my documents and mileage at the time of my report fall within the lemon law mileage/month guidelines. For more information you can google New York State lemon laws. There is no Lemon Law for used cars. What you should've done was taken the car to a mechanic and run a Carfax report before spending your hard earned money. Your only out here is to contact the AGs office, but if the car was sold as-is, you are pretty much screwed. However, if the car was sold with 'the balance of the manufacturer's warranty', then you might have a chance.
