Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Craig Meier, a Texas auctioneer, aka Craig Meier Auctioneers and Realty aka United Country Meier Auctions & Realty Inc. Removed and sold my personal property without my knowledge or consent..he removed from the shipping POD container and from designated areas of my home and garage items intended to go to my new residence. Basically he took from me 75% of my personal property I had collected for over 25 years. Additionally he removed and sold several miniature horse's without consent for cents on the dollar including separating a mother from her baby.

A complaint has been filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation in Austin (Enforcement Div.) received by the office July 24, 2008; the investigation was initiated and continues to be under investigation.

The young woman aka "Madgasser" in Arlington, Texas who reported this company 12/20/2008 - in the Ripoff Report, experienced almost exactly the same experience as I did with Craig Meier and his associate Wes in terms of what they said and how they conducted themselves almost exactly the same way in my situation. He did the same thing...brought in items to attract buyers...I thought he could be trusted until just before the auction when he refused to submit to me a consignors list of items (as I was already in Central Texas and would be arriving just before or during the auction (he promised to be bonded as well..and said trust me...)

Unfortunately, I arrived late to find my home had literally been cleaned out...and 100's of items I believed were still safely stored in the shipping POD I only found out 2 weeks later that they too had been removed and sold without my knowledge or consent...Also so many items set aside for me to take back on that trip were ALL GONE...from my home or garage. I found packing material later from where they had unboxed and unwrapped over 1/2 of a POD of items I charished....some are not replaceable...NONE of which have been recovered to this day (almost one year later).

The feeling I still have is as if I was robbed or perhaps my home destroyed by a storm or fire...where there is nothing much left...Same difference...family photos, charished items of not much value and some of value if nothing else sentimental value ALL Gone !

If my story is so similiar to the woman "Madgasser" I would believe that the Texas Attorney General should here about this matter since there is a pattern (for which I have been searching for...glad to have found one) Also class action lawsuits would be a possible..

If anyone else has experienced the same with Craig Meier Auctioneeer please respond so we work together to recover our property and put an end to this young man's scheme ...It's a sad day when someone who clearly does not appear to have much remorse for his actions ...is still out there....

I had the same feeling as the woman did ...that they had sand bagged my personal property so they could take it to their next auction...unfortunately I could never find out where...the same scrap man or scenario I also believed took place..Actually it looked as if I had been robbed when I arrived...I have never seen my garage that clean except when I first moved there over 9 years before..When the young lady said to Craig Meier...you bought items for cheap at a previous auction then brought them to her place and sold them to make money ...he laughed and admitted he did that all the time.

Further, my beautiful miniature horses and their offspring (young baby) were taken and sold (one not paid for which is still in the hands of a friend fo Craig Meir's who first lied about having the miniature horse..the rest were sold for cents on the dollar.

I never received a completed / fully executed contract nor consignors list prior to the auction. therefore technically all items sold were done so without legal authority. If anyone has any information or if they attended the purported estate Auction in Bartonville - at Dove Creek Farm on May 10, 2008 please respond...
