CONSECO FINANCE WAS ONCE MY LIENHOLDER. From Dec. 14,2007 to May 2008. payments have always been on time. sometimes 2 weeks before it is due. and i never had a problem with my previous company, until one day i got a letter stating that my account has been turned over to crescent bank. so first of all i thought it was a scam so i contacted conseco and explained what was going on.
they advised me that i was no longer with them. and that my account moved to crescent bank because of the outstanding,or timely fashion in which how my payment is made on time. i was under the impression that the interest rate would go down. which is now still at this rate 28%. yea i know they should be locked for that but what can you do when your credit is not all that good.
but anyway things started to go down hill pretty fast. i would make a payment and someone would call me the very next day and ask me when would i be able to make a payment. that the system is showing past due. at this point you argue with someone that is very rude for about thirty minutes for a mistake that they made in the fist place. management get on the phone and talk even worse.
by this time you realize you are not gonna win because they make that threat to take your vehicle. so you pay and also late fees of $70.24. i am still paying but i realize that i was right from the begin and will still feel the same way to the end. THEY ARE SCAM ARTIST.

Once they got me behind on my payments,they offered me an extention agreement.i argued them that i was not late but i just could not win. so i agreed to do the extention. well they told me to make another full payment to bring the account current.which was $351.17 plus $184.00 and i did that.also mailed and faxed signed paper work to them. the $184.00 was the cost for the extention.and i would have no payment for the next month.so a month later they called me and told me that i was a month behind plus i owed the remainder of a partial payment.here again i argued but could not win. so i had to pay another payment of $351.17, also late charges plus $167.17 to go with the partial they said i made. Sign: Never got the Extention.
