Beckley,#2UPDATE EX-employee responds
Sun, November 16, 2003
hey just read the above statements, i agree with the first one that this is defintely a huge set back for those of us that worked for acs in beckley. I am still trying to find full time employment. My husband is disabled, I have 2 children, trying to make ends meet on unemployment does not work..I never talked ugly to the customers, or put any payments thru until the customer told me to. I was one of the top collectors in the site, and to be told that morning that we had no job was disgusting. I worked for them the day they opened until the day they closed. To not let us have any warning was so wrong, rocco obviously does not care about his employees at all...It is my understanding that now Huntington is hiring again. DISGUSTING.....

Large Companys such as Cross Country Bank AKA Applied Card Systems come to our region and take advantage of our financial situations all the while receiving aide from State benefits for up to three 3yrs. Work shop tactics were used while pay was good( don't forgot the tax breaks they got). Employees were forced to lie cheat and steal from customers, without both employee and customer knowledge. Example: setting a Pay by phone up for the 3rd of month and the home office running it thru the bank on the last day of the month. thus Bounced ck for customer. FEES for the company. This Company was run on money they tried to obtain from fees overlimit and late. Customers are harressed not over money they owe and pent ont ehcard but, from fees caused by company's Planned Errors!!!Don't worry, Huntington,Pa and Boca will be next..the Lawsuits will roll!! What goes around comes around...so Bend over!
