I just want to say that I have no doubt about the practices going on at crumpton auction. I've actually never been to one. I frequent Andrew's auction at American corner. However, I do know Linda. She goes to all the auctions in the area. It's her thing. I dont believe she bids people up. She likes cheap. She buys the crap nobody wants. Have you ever been to her " flea market"?All her stuff is outside covered in tarps getting ruined. She doesn't sell much. There's so much stuff and you can't see it because its covered but it's what she likes to do. All the auction people know her. When something isn't selling Curtis looks to Linda to try to get her to bid. She buys cheap..sells for double. As far as bidding people up. I think thats false. I'll be mentioning it to her.

Apparently this person has not idea of what is going on. I have been selling for 35 years at Dixon furniture Auction in Crumption Md. Dylan Dixon has done a fantastic job of employing fainess to all the auctions run. There are many times I have lost and gained as a seller and have been outbid and won on the other side as a buyer. This person sounds like sour grapes. Antiques are not what they once where. You need to educate yourself before you make quick judgements. As for Linda, she takes bids for dealer who cannot be present at the auction and she is above board on everything. The auction has no buyers premium and is one of the best around. If it was dishonest, no one would attend. Buyers and sellers flock from New England to South Carolina, every week. don't let one sour grape spoil the brew.
