I recently went to a cuisine sante international presentation in Ottawa, Ontario where they gave me a live demonstration of how the cooking products work after the presentation was over they were trying to force me to buy their products. I asked myself what the hell did i get into they make other cookware sold in other stores like walmart, bay etc look bad its awful and the prices were totally f**ked up. 300 dollars for a kettle comon anyway I bought there sh**ty kettle when I used it on my stove at home this s**+**y thing didn't heat up my water for my morning tea I felt so angry I threw this piece of crap of my balcony into the trash dumpster i just lost 300 bucks. I am so pissed off with these scammers what can i do to get my money back from these liars? Don't get fooled into buying there s**+**y products use your common sense people.

Cuisine Santé....THE PRESSURE IS DEFINITELY ON

I do agree with the "Pressure is on if you say no or show no interest to buy".  After I told him I would not buy AT ALL and was not interested in spending that kind of money, the guy asked me:  "what can I do to convince you", I point blank told him that there was absolutely nothing he could do.....he wasn't that friendly after that.

You can buy very nice pots & pans for a much lower price, this to me is a total scam and for those who are vulnerable, don't go to their cooking show even if they say it's free, it may end up costing you an "arm and a leg".

If you buy, you can't return, and I'm of the view if I can't return, I don't buy because sometimes, I think after the fact and then realize I didn't really want to buy this or that, OR I felft pressured and couldn't say no or make a proper decision.

If you tell them you made a mistake and would like to return it, forget it, there's no way and if you tell them you'll bring them to court, they will be very rude by telling you to go ahead, go ahead because there's nothing you can do about it, others have tried and failed.

So buyer be aware, don't get "screwed" out of $3,300 (or more if you finance your purchase).

Cuisine Sante is far away from being a scam. I just bought their 27pc cookware and they gave us a (I believe?) 72pc flatware plus a complete knife set coz we got a special deal from their cooking show. i absolutely love the technology/materials they use on their products and the JUST POSITIVE atmosphere of the company. i am very sensitive to energies, and they are so far the best in terms of that in any company that i've dealt with! :D

that aside, they r very helpful and flexible with payment options because of our financial situation. the new is often not welcomed in any industry - they are not scam, but leaders in the future of cooking, the healthy, energy-efficient cooking! :)

they didn't pressure us to buy. in fact, just because of our special situation, we got a grace period of 3 months to start our payment. but, in my humblest opinion, i do think their customer referral system is a bit out-dated (idea is awesome, methods are not so much).

i truly want to thank everyone who made cuisine sante happen and everyone in the vancouver branch that helped us! :D looking forward to healthy meals from now on!

PTS = scam

WOW. PTS Travel has a lot of nerve defending themselves on here. Anyone can Google "PTS Travel" and "Scam" and judge for themselves what kind of company PTS is and exactly what kind of customer service philosophy PTS has. Claiming that you are not affiliated with CSI and claiming that it is CSI that "misleads" the consumer is all fine and well- but take some ownership. Your whole business is based on making money off of "suckers."

Do you claim that there are regular customers that like and choose PTS and is their go-to travel agent??!?! C'mon! Whatever makes you sleep better at night. My wife and I had to go to The Better Business Bureau to get our trip deposit money back that PTS stole from us for a trip that they never in any way shape or form delivered/followed through on. And we did get our refund; thanks only to The Better Business Bureau.

I am an associate of PTS Travel and want to correct the misconceptions regarding your comments.  PTS Travel does not conduct any sales presentations or seminars, is not associated with CSI or any company doing any kind of presentations.  Unfortunately, some companies misrepresent the offers.  PTS Travel does provide travel vouchers and travel fulfillment to companies throughout the U.S. and Canada.  Our vouchers clearly state all of the terms and conditions.  The offer is not for free travel as taxes and fees are not included.  Availability is based on our promotional agreemnts and surcharges may apply to certain dates and destinations and we do not know if they will apply until the time of the reservation.

The pressure starts when you say no

Of course, if you say you're going to buy, you won't feel any pressure.

The pressure starts when you say you're not willing to buy - or, as in our case, willing to buy, but not just yet.

We clearly said that we did not want to commit to a four-year financing plan which amounts to a $4000 debt. This was ignored, and the pressure started.

Even when we said we didn't care about the free gifts but more interested in avoiding debt, they tried all the tactics in the book to get us to buy right now!

And, frankly, it does not matter if Cusisne Sante or Desjardins is responsible for the interest which brings the total up to $4000. The point is that they try to commit you to a large debt that takes 4 year to pay off. While I could justify it for a car or a mortgage (both of which I can sell to recoup part of my investment), I can' t justify it for cookware. Although we both have well paying jobs, my spouse and I have both seen cutbacks and layoffs in our respective companies, and can't avoid to commit to such bad debt.

If you think the product is good and want to buy it, by all means, do so - but know how much it will really cost you. If if you don't want to buy it, know that Cuisine Sante will pressure you to buy it anyway.

I was recently invited to Cuisine Sante International with my wife. I thought that the food for one was amazing and I loved all of their products. At the end of the show, they simply asked us which products we liked, and my wife and I finally decided on the two that would fit our lifestyle best (even though we liked almost everything). And we went ahead and bought them. That's it. They didnt pressure me into anything. If anything I appreciate that they invited my wife and I into the show and they showed us how well we would benefit from their products.

I will honestly never again buy any cookware ever again. Also, if you were listening to the show or the consultant, 82 times 48 does equal to close to 4000 but that has nothing to do with Cuisine Sante International, that is all up to how quickly you make the payments and all up to Desjardein Bank. My wife and I paid using my credit card it only the cost of the cookware was charged to my credit card.

Oh and by the way, to the person who couldn't use a tea kettle... when you are purchasing cookware at the bay, which is about 2000-3000 dollars on average, do they cook for you with that cookware at the bay? are you able to hold the cookware and get a feel for them? do they give you a three course meal? of course not! so why is it ok for people to purchase cookware for around 3000 at the bay and not at the same cost with 2 products for free and a garuntee for life with Cuisine Sante? Oh and LOL on throwing 300 dollars off your balcony, who does that?

I have to disagree with those who say they felt no pressure.

My spouse and I made it clear we were not ready to buy that night. We clearly said we were not ready to commit to a four year financing plan, and did not care about not receiving the free gifts. We emphatically said we did not like debt, and did not want to take debt to buy the cookware.

These comments were ignored.

Even though we repeatedly asked what the procedure would be to come back when we had saved the money, they kept trying to sign us for the financing plan, and did not answer our question about the procedure for buying at a later time. They kept piling up the arguments and the pressure.

After leaving, we did the math. At $82 a month for four years, that brings the cost of the cookware to close to $4000. Turns out those free gifts you get only if you sign right away for the financing plan aren't all that free after all!

We also went to Cuisine Santes show and we quite enjoyed it.  They were friendly, and didnt pressure us into buying anything.  They were even extremely patient with us as we took our time (and we took a long time) looking over their products in the show room and trying to decide what we wanted.  We decided to buy their cookware and while the cooking style is different, its definitely worth it for what you get and works great.

Cusine Sante International - Kettle and other cookware

First of all, how did you manage to not boil water in a metal kettle? Doesnt matter how its built, you cant mess that one up. Second, I attended the show, and a kettle was not even in the list of products to buy. Its apparently a gift you get free for referring friends. We got their products and they work great. They also save time and were able to cook most meals at home now instead of eating out all the time. These will definitely pay for themselves pretty quick and I wont have to get new ones so I say definitely a good product you should look into.

I too was scammed by Cuisine Sante International. They scammed my wife and I into buying all their over-priced cookware, and the Dur Triumph which is advertised to be like the T-Zone but it is not. And worse of all they promised that it included a one week vacation to to Hawaii but it was 100% false advertising. To claim the trip you have to send money to an even bigger scam con called PTS Travel (Google PTS Travel and see how charming they are!). The fact that CSI is partnered with PTS is a reflection of the true colors of CSI.  Once PTS has your money, you never get a trip, 'cause you never hear back from them not to mention the fine print that you can't book your trip within 2 weeks of a holiday!! And they count every possible holiday you can think of.

Hello,

I represent Cuisine Sant International Ottawa. I have gone ahead and looked into the situation but, unfortunately, I could not find any record of a single kettle being sold like it was described. Usually, we give our kettles away as gifts or rewards to our customers. But, that aside, we are willing to work with any customer to resolve any issues, problems, or difficulties that they may have in regards to our products or their experience.

We stand by our kettles and, of course, all of our products. The kettle is covered by a lifetime guarantee and warranty. So, in this situation, it sounds like the kettle is defective in some manner since it did not heat up water on a stove top element. We are more than willing to assist you in any manner to either replace the kettle or to test it out on a stove top.

To date, we've not received any calls, emails, or requests in regards to a kettle. If we had, we would have taken immediate steps to assist the customer and to find a way to make them happy.

If you wish to find some sort of solution from Cuisine Sant International I suggest that you please contact us directly and we will do anything we can within our power to make you a happy customer. We believe strongly in customer service and desire to rectify this situation. Please call us so that we can be of assistance.
