Well as it turned out, it wasn't Cybersonic that gave me a refund like I thought in my first update. Rather, as I found out later, it was my credit card company agreeing to reverse the charges, even though I contested the charges after the 60-day limit. If within 90 days Cybersonic can't come up with a valid rebuttal to my contest of the charges, the reversed charges will become permanent. My credit card company even gave me credit for the interest charges even though I didn't have an outstanding balance and the CC company never charged me a penny on interest! It would be really nice if that interest money came from Cybersonic's account. That would be sweet justice. I will update with any changes.
In fact I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Cybersonic had the gall to rebut that complaint by saying they have proof that they shipped me the product. Well they certainly did ship me a product alright, but it was for the free replacement brush heads and not the expensive power unit itself. Without the power unit, what good are the replacement brush heads?! They are such a bunch of liars and yahoos. I know Cybersonic shipped the replacement brush heads with a Delivery Confirmation, but I'm willing to bet my $118.48 that they won't be able to come up with a delivery confirmation for the power unit. I saved the plastic pouch packaging for the replacement brush heads with the delivery confirmation on it just in case I need to prove my point.
When I have a free moment next week I will also file complaints with the Federal Trade Commission, the Post Master General, and State Attorney General, and any other relevant agencies. I'm determined to put a stop to their scamming. If it weren't for my credit card company I'm certain I would not have seen a penny back from Cybersonic.

After filing my complaint with the Better Business Bureau and my credit card company, I was finally able to receive my total refund. Let's see, I placed my order on 8/20/2001 and never received the product. I requested a complete refund on 11/28/2001 by calling Cybersonic almost everyday from 11/28/2001 till 12/27/2001 and got no action save promises. I finally got my money back after filing my complaint with the BBB and my credit card company and I don't know exactly which one it was that helped me to get my money back. I am convinced, however, that had I taken no action, I would not have received a penny back from Cybersonic.
I was about to close this credit card account to keep Cybersonic from keep on charging me $4.89 every three months for the replacement brushheads that I wouldn't be able to use without the power unit.
It has been quite an ordeal and it destroyed my faith in all merchandise hawked by TV informercials.
