Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I quit working for Infinity Marketing Concepts, an affiliate of Cydcor today, after putting in 10 weeks of hard labor. I feel people should have a right to know that this company is an evil, dishonest company, and that it should be shutdown for ruining the livlihood of so many people's lives.

For those that are considering taking the job, think it through and do your research. I took the first interview back in January, which last 10 minutes, and given a promise that I would be given a 2nd interview due to my "sharp and charismatic nature". Sure enough, I got the call for my 2nd interview with complete ignorance as to what I was about to get myself into. On my 2nd interview I was promised money, power, and the freedom to run my own business within 9-12 months. I was promised fast promotions and given illusions of being a Senior National Consultant (aka VP of the company)and given millions of dollars in compensation. I thought this was a great opportunity, and being naive at the time, I fell for it and started the following Monday.

For the next following weeks, I was told I would be doing "client acquisition" for our client, and that we were "not doing door to door sales" but rather, "training on how to think fast on my feet" I was given scripts, a "System" to follow, and instructions on how to handle "objections" when I solicited the stores I was given territory to. All the while I made very little money in the field, even though I was producing between 10-13 apps weekly.

I was told to upsell to the customers, by simply putting double if not triple the amount of supplies they were going to buy and assuing them that I was "giving them my special discount". I put 9000 miles on my car in 2 months, and have been involved in a car accident because of this "career". Gas money, eating lunch everyday, put a toll on the small paycheck I received everyweek, and did little to help pay off my bills. I worked like a dog 5 days a week for 15 hours a day every day, and was given no options for vacations, sick leave, or offered any kind of medical benefits. I saw friends of mine who worked there with me fired because they could not produce apps, and people's lives ruined because they fell for this scam.

10 weeks later, after being told consistenly how "weak minded" I was I quit. I could no longer stand being lied to, as well as lying and coercing good people to sign up with Quill, which was our campaign. I felt ashamed of what I did, and stupid for even falling for such a scam. I am only too glad that I got out now before investing more time, effort, and money into this cult, and can now move on with my life. I highly encourage those who have been through this scam to avoid it like the disgusting plague it is, and to tell others to avoid it. You are nothing to the managers and leaders who pretend they care so much about your well being and success, only to talk about your behind your back and belittle your "failure" on "weakness" and a "bad attitude"

This company works like this:

1.) 1st Interview: Short, vague, incomplete

2.) 2nd Interview: After being promoted to Leadership, I found out that 2nd interviews are all scripted and role-played out to ensure success in bringing the "Day of O" on. It will usually begin with congratulations on getting a 2nd interview followed by sitting in the leaders car for a brief, scripted questionnaire. Then the "Day of O" is explained that he/she will spend the entire day with the Leader and shown "the opportunity" and will have to impress the Leader due to the fact that "only 3 positions" will be filled, which is a lie, seeing how there are an unlimited number of positions to fill.

There is a system as to how to "introduce, present, then close" a Day of Observation. You are given 2 choices for compensation. Base salary or 100% ommission. The base salary does not exist, for it is only given as an option to use as a means of comparison to coerce the intervewee to choose commission.

3.) You are promised a promotion if you do 10 apps consistenly. Most people can be promoted in a week. This is done to help encourage them to stay.

4.) You are expected to come early, stay late. You are expected to "exceed all expectations" and work until you have met company standards. You are a slave to their precious "system"

5.) Leaders can earn a "Day of O" by producing high number of apps for high amounts of money. For example. 3 apps for $900 will earn you "Day of O" to coerce, mold, and bring on.

The list goes on. But I grow sick of recalling them all. Bottom line: Stay away from this scam.
