I would like to clarify a few things in my report. My daughter did have a boy from her first marriage. That would be my grandson. She then had a girl from her second marriage. She was given custody of her daughter when the divoce was final and he was suppose to pay child support. Because of the mental abuse that she and her son suffered from her ex-husband she moved from St. Joseph to Linden, which is more than a hundred miles away. At the time she did not realize that there was a hundred mile radius. The attorney she had did practically nothing. She was trying to protect herself and her children from his abuse. The courts said she did not have enough evidence to substantiate that. Her ex-husband filed for custody and they granted him it. She lost all respect for herself after tnis happened. The courts more or less said it was all about the money. He supposedly had it and she did not. He loves to play golf and play poker and subjects his daughter to all of his women. Some father! When my daughter tried calling the police in Berrien County, when she still had custody, because he did not return the child they did nothing. They said it was a domestic dispute. That is a felony!..A judge took a little girl away from her mother and her brother that she loves very much. What kind of judical system does that? After a few months my grandson went tot stay with his father. My daughter was trying to work and with not having his sister it was too much. Of course my daughter wishes she had done a lot of things differently, but she is back in the fight so to speak. She does not have the money for a descent attorney. Shhe has been doing a lot of this on her own. I do want to say one thing. Our whole family believes that he would try to do something to my daughter. He has made so many threats against her. I don~t think his treats are to be taken lightly, with everything he has done so far. Another thing is that my grandaughter does not want to stay with him. She wants her mother. Her ex-husband is starting to treat his daughter the same way he did my grandson.

Her daughter had a son from a previous relationship. THEN she had a daughter with this guy. The OP states that the court gave custody of the daughter to the ex husband, and it sounds like the son lives with her daughter. There's something that doesn't sound right here. Earlier in the post she said that custody was granted to her daughter, then it was granted to the ex husband. The poster didn't mention if the divorce was finalized, but if it hasn't been, I think I'd rethink my choice of attorneys. Hopefully the OP will update this report with more information.

Okay I am confused. Do you have a grandson or a grandaughter? both genders are mentioned and I am lost as to if your daughter had a boy or a girl.
