This ladder was purchased at Walmart and just a few hours after using it I ended up in the emergency room due to a collapse of the ladder, model number W-2212-06S. I took pictures of the ladder,
I was on the fourth rung when it bowed to the left and the leg bent. The metal split at the seam and then bent between the 2nd and 3rd step. I was standing on the 4th rung when it gave way and was then falling to the left as the leg gaveway. I was sent into a fence and then slammed to the ground. I ripped some ligiments in my foot and now have to go see a bone doc for my arm as I can't lift anything without pain in my hand elbow and shoulder.
I am going to contact a Lawyer as since I have just found out about another person that this has happened to and agian to was also the left side. I find it hard to believe that this was a 1 time thing. People need to know that this is a very unsafe ladder once u hit the 4th rung I guess since once you hit the 4th rung the left leg gives way. The ladder says it can hold upto 250lbs and im not even close to that weight so there is a issue with this ladder.
