Debtsettleinc.com,inc. is a true scam.  This Company has taken advantage of me with a bait and switch telephone soliciting.



I lost my job and was desperate to continue to be able to pay my bills. A man by the name of Josh Eastman called to solicit Debtsettle.com,inc., with the promise to help me to pay off my credit cards by not paying any payments and setting up an account to later negotiate lower payments with my creditors.



Mr. Eastman explained that this was perfectly legal way to handle my debts and that because of the the state our country was in it was the only way.  He also said the company had a lawyer to take care of harrassing phone calls.  What a joke that was!!!  I don't know why I was so gullible. I feel so sick about this.



Mr. Eastman set up my account by email. The one time entrance fee and monthly payments changed to a higher amount once I recieved my monthly statement. I tried to cancel the account by contacting customer service. They told me I had to write a letter as to why I was canceling and they would refund most of my money. This never happened. Because they had access to my bank account, I had the pay a fee for stop  payment (more money spent).



I have contacted the manager Christian M. on numerous occasions, only to find him rude and not willing to help me. I found it very odd how he agreed that his employee, Josh Eastman was dishonest and that is why he no longer works for the company.



The last time I was in contact with the manager (Christian M.), was today(11/01/10). I got his voicemail again! I could not even leave a message due to the mailbox being full.  I called the number again to speak with a customer service person and they informed me that Christian no longer worked for the company, imagine that!!!!



At this point my blood is boiling. I spoke with Carson and he gives me another number to call. Still another customer service team.  This time I spoke with Angie, she informed me that not a one call or fax was documented in connection with canceling my account due to the dishonesty of the sales person and sales management!!



I am now told to write another letter, which I will email instead of fax, so I will have electronic proof.  However, they told me it will take 60 to 90 days to be reviewed.  I am certain this is just another dead end but I will proceed with this email.



This experience has harmed my health and my family and it has put me in a deeper financial hole. With the money they scammed from me , I could have payed off one of my creditors!!! 



This has caused me health problems and more financial distress. I do not want this to happen to more innocent trusting people.
