The New changes to Desert Schools Credit Union makes them the same as any other bank - NSF fees for profit.  I was really happy there until recently. Now they are telling my I should keep track of my spending - I do that's why I know they are wrong.  Many of us left Compass Bank and went to Desert Schools to find peace but NO MORE.....File your complaints with The AZ Attorney General, The FTC and

While it is hard to figure out exactly what your situation is.  From how you wrote and phrased it perhaps this is a bit clearer.

The only reason NSF fees would matter to you is if you get hit by them.  You left other banks because you didn't like the fees, hoping that a Credit Union would be more lenient.  So you found this one where at one time this Credit Union did not charge NSF fees(or they were lower).  As a result you didn't think it was that important to keep track of your balance.  Because you really didn't see a problem if you went into Overdraft using money that was not yours.  But then they became like the "evil" banks and started to charge you higher fees if you actually go into Overdraft.  Not only that but you feel that they are in the wrong for telling you to keep track of your spending.

Please think of it this way.  Perhaps they had to go to this new policy because of all of the people taking advantage of their policies.  They are "member owned", and I am sure the "owners" do not want to loose money because of a small percentage of account holders.

Also remember you left another bank because of the same issue.  Ummmm two financial institutions where you have the same "issues".  Perhaps they are not the ones that are wrong.  But if you don't take a step back and really think that perhaps you are in the wrong, I am sure you will be back here writing another report on the next bank or credit union you have problems with.
