Desoto Caverns Park Ripoff several prices quoted then rushes 6 adults in with 107 preschoolers Childersburg Alabama
Desoto Caverns park charges 14.99 for adult tickets to go into a cave that the repersent that desoto descovered no history to back up cheap theraratics put a group of older adults in a tour group with 107 small preschool childern Adults could not hear the tour guide one one for this many people (chaperons were with children they were unable to keep them quite when lights go down for lazer show) some of the children knocked down 58 yearold tour guide offered no assistance (note tour guides are young adults who appear to have learned the script but can answere no questions about park or cave.
His response "is no one gave me any information on that" when brought to the attention on the manager she said it would be a 45 min wait til the next tour we had already waited 45 min it was very hot 98 this day all we wanted was these adults to enjoy the tour of the caverns may a ticket for another day.. Also the price to do other things are a rip off $3&$4 to look in sand for cheap plistic stone or 4.00 to throw water bloons at each other. Manager did say "the Man that is in charge will make a discussion and get back with you Guess what he never has 1 1/2 weeks still waiting. so if you are travaling around central alabama do not fall for this roadside ripp off. another site that gives a good descriptiopn is roadside america they do not think to highly thank you for listening...also did contact visa to have $96.00 reversed.
