Diamond Resorts Int'l Lost my deposit after reading Ripoff reports. Las Vegas Nationwide
I was a day late in cancelling my agreement made in Lahaina, lost my deposit, was hounded by phone calls for 6 months (up to 18/day). Read Ripoff report but didn't see it in time to cancel without penalty. Paid another company for advice on how to cancel my contract. Wasn't successful but DRI gave up after 6 months. After carefully reading my contract I can't see a way out other than to walk away and hope they don't send a debt collector after you. Obviously a company that has this type of business model is worried about getting return business so they tie you up to maintenance contracts. Disgusting.
