dice.com Phony jobs RIPOFF! Internet
I looked at dice.com for progammer position (common skills) and found lots of jobs. I sent resumes to several companies listed and received no response. I sent resumes to various companies over a two week period with no response. I then noticed the same jobs kept popping up on dice.com, I then started watching closely and every 3 or 4 days all the jobs would show up that were there before - the only difference is the date was changed so they showed up at the top of the list.
Even though this site is free to the job seeker it is misleading because it appears new jobs show up every few days but 95 percent of them are simply being recycled. Some of these jobs have been there for months and I know they must have filled these positions long ago.
My thought is dice.com wants to show they have lots of jobs so they just keep recycling jobs that have been filled for months. I can only recommend to not use them.
