Digital Liquidators Deceiving Practices Brooklyn New York
On June 26, 2005 Ordered a Sony DCR-VX2100 camcorder from their web site. This item was adverted for sale for $994.00. Furnished all credit card information and received e-mail confirmation of the order. A second e-mail arrived requesting to contact their sales person by phone. When I called they tried to pressure me into buying additional items for the camera. After checking week on week and receiving the "Back-Order" reply. I Filed a complaint with the New York Attorney Generals office who in turn forward the complaint to the Department of Consumer Affairs. (December 2005)
In Feruary 2006 received an email from the Comsumers affirs who had spoke with Digital Liquidators Customer Service Manager.
I contacted consumer affairs and advised them my order was not cancelled and they have all the reports, Ad's emails and my hand written comments on dates and time and with whom I spoke to at Digital Liquidators. My presentant drive to obtain the camera for the advertised price became a reality. I Received the Sony DCR-VX2100 yesterday March 20, 2006 at the price I orginally saw it advertised.
All of this could have been avoided if they were honest people to start with. Stay away from DIGITAL LIQUIDATORS, OR YOU'LL GET BURNED.
