You didn't really explain the ripoff here... You stated you were billed for service after cancellation.. If that were true normally it's a simple matter of getting credited back for time w/out service.. Did you even finalize cancellation ..? And then you said you called and cursed out a CSR and thought that handled it. I feel there is more to this story. You should speak to the retention department about the exact date you cancelled or that is shown you cancelled. You've complained but haven't really provided enough information to pull a solution from.
