These guys love taking money from thier contractors and then threatening lawsuits. I worked for them for under a year, and they refused to pay me several thousand dollars. The very last time was 2 weeks ago. I bid out $200.00 per square on a 10.5 square roof. They only paid me 900. They also did not pay me for alot of work i did over those past 2 weeks, the total was 2400. They also used unlicensed electricians and plumbers in the state of Maine. what they call full home rehabs is just screwing drywall over the old walls and adding spacers to the electrical. I saw one house they did and the flooring was curling up and bowing after one week because they did not want to spend the $200. for a vapor barrier. Never become a subcontractor for this company, and never hire them to do anything.

Peter Hanson bid $900 labor only on his bid sheet for the roof in question. We paid him exactly what he bid. He was unhappy with that stating we needed to pay him more. Yet this was his bid amount. The bid is in writing on the work work order submitted by Peter Hanson and we have that on file for anyone to view that wishes to. Another thing we have found since Peter quit working for Dirigo is that all his so called employees were not employees at all but people he was paying under the table. Peter is a huge liability for you to have on your job site. In this case he was paid the full amount of his bid, materials were paid by us and he never completed the full job leaving debris on site. Yet we paid him for his work. Dirigo is licensed and fully insured for a reason. If we did not pay people for work rendered we would not be in business over 15 years. Think about it.
