Disboards Disney Discussion Forums Bullies, censorship, cliques, harrassment, and these are just the moderators! Internet
Tje Disboards is an internet fan site dedicated to all things Disney. This site is not affiliated with the Walt Disney Company in any way. This is a free site to use unless you sign up to be a site sponsor. The site is moderated by a group of power hungry computer geeks who have nothing better to do with their time than harrass users who they don't know, while treating their internet "friends" with favoritism.
These moderators use their power to censor users and prevent them from using their free speach rights. They allow their friends to "gang up" on individuals in vicious ways. When the affected user defends him/her self, the moderators step in and issue their so-called "infractions" to the individual user, while allowing their "friends" to continue with the bad behavior.
I was "banned" from this site for supposedly "attacking" other posters. In truth, it was the others who attacked me, forcing me to defend myself. When the moderators issued "infractions" to me, I appealed the decision, following their established system, and was completely ignored. There were no attacks on my part, but because I questioned the reason for being penalized, I was banned.
This site is intended to help people plan Disney vacations. But it is filled with forums that talk about everything from politics to religion to PMS, and more. The so-called "friends" that I refer to have been posting on this site for many years and have thousands of posts. I, to had been posting since 2002, but only had about 400 posts. I was not in any special groups on the boards. I just participated from time to time and when my opinions were'nt in line with other members, I was often attacked and called vicious names by them.
The hypocrites at the Disboards need to be brought down a notch or two. The best way to hit them would be to complain to their sponsors such as Dreams Unlimited travel. If you visit the disboards website at www.disboards.com or at wdwinfo.com you can see a list of their supporters. Write to them and complain about the unfair practices of the Disboards.
