Discovery Marketing & Distributing - Rain Soft Water Treatment Sys, Home Depot Installes Services They did not pay me Gainesville Florida
On Monday, Nov. 26 I responded to a classified employment add for a position as a salesman. The add stated that they were affiliated with Home Depot as a service provider so I assumed they were a reputable company.
I had an interview that day. I was hired. They had a training class starting the next day. I had hoped to start at the earliest on Weds., but agreed to start Tuesday when I was told that was the only way I would receive my full taining pay for that week.
Our training pay was to be $11.00 an hour for a total of 16 hours. The total was to be $176.00.We were scheduled to be at work from 10 AM until 3PM, Tues to Friday with an hour off for lunch.
At first this seemed like a good opportunity. After training was over we would be getting paid excellent commissions. They stated that their poorest salesman made $60,000.00 last year. Im a pretty good salesman so I knew I would do better then that.
As the week wore on, some things started to not seem right. I sarted learning things about their way of doing business which to me did not seem proper.
And there were some of the ways they dealt with us that didnt sit right. For example, we had to sign over $50.00 of our small training check to them. This was for a Home Depot Shirt & so they could do a background check on us.
Well, over the weekend I finally decided this place was not for me. I also realized that if they had told me prioor to my accepting the position a few of the things they gradually snuck in throughout the week, I never would have waisted my time with them.
Anyway, today I returned my sales kit to them. While their I asked the manager when I would be able to pick up my paycheck. He told me they were not giving me training pay because I did not "graduate."
I calmly asked him how he could even begin to justify that garbage. I did not want to loose my temper so I politely told him that I would pursue this with the appropriate authorities.
His response was: "Good luck, do you think you are the first person who ever tried?"

Everything this previous employee stated is true only it gets worse I had to work in a very hostile enviroment was abused mentally and sexually ...... This company truly does train their employees to be dishonest and mislead people....I will challenge them in court and I will WIN I have all the proof the law needs!!!!!!!!
