Complaint Review: Dr. Monty Weinstein - New York New York

Mr. Myron Weinstein is a licensed Marriage Family Therapist in GA #MFT000677 only - NOTHING more!  He has been sanctioned in GA for practing Pychiatry without a license.  

Below is an excerpt from the STATE OF NEW YORK DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH Administrative Review Board’s comments about “Dr. Monty” in 2003.

The Hearing Committee was not impressed with Dr. Weinstein’s testimony and had various concerns about his credibility. The information listed in his Curricuhm Vitae appears embellished and, at times, misleading. For example, while describing his education Dr. Weinstein lists “1996-2001: 200 hours-Advanced training-Harvard Department of Psychiatry- Cambridge Institute, Harvard Medical School.” (Ex. A14). The implication is that he participated in a regular academic program at Harvard. However, it was revealed that the programs he attended at Harvard were only Continuing Education courses (Tr. 1041-l 043).

Additionally, the Hearing Committee has questions about the Doctor of Psychology degree that Dr. Weinstein received at Heed University, which is chartered in Wisconsin and the Virgin Islands (Ex. A14). First, it is unclear whether Heed University was accredited by any of the higher educational accrediting bodies (Tr. 1043-1044). Secondly, it appears that Dr. Weinstein obtained his doctorate degree by merely completing six independent projects in family therapy and by undergoing psychoanalysis (Tr. 1044-l 045; Ex. A14).

While Dr. Weinstein may be an expert in the area of family therapy, the Hearing Committee believes that he lacks the requisite expertise to provide an expert opinion as to whether the Respondent suffers from a mental disability and/or psychiatric illness. Dr. Weinstein doesn’t have a New York State license to practice psychology. Moreover, although he has practiced in the New York area, he is not licensed in any discipline in New York State. (Tr.

1050-1051; Ex. A14).

Furthermore, there has been no convincing evidence presented to the Hearing Committee that Dr. Weinstein ever performed a full formal psychological evaluation of the Respondent. Ne&theless, in 1999 the Respondent engaged Dr. Weinstein to evaluate her for the following purposes: to determine whether she would benefit from family therapy; to help her gain accessibility to her child; and, to render an opinion as an expert in the field of family therapy that would be submitted to the Nassau County Family Court. (Tr. 1360-l 363). However, the evaluation that was ultimately performed by Dr. Weinstein for the limited purposes for which he was engaged did not constitute a comprehensive psychological evaluation of the Respondent.

In addition, the Hearing Committee observed that Dr. Weinstein was evasive, argumentative and offered minimal factual evidence. He was a difficult witness to pin down and he frequently avoided questions that he didn’t want to answer. For example, when asked to comment about the Respondent’s behavior during his testimony, he attempted to avoid the question by asserting the misplaced claim that it would be unethical for him to give an opinion of the Respondent’s behavior during the hearing. After this claim was rejected by the Administrative Law Judge and he was directed to answer the question, he reluctantly stated that there were times that the Respondent was not focused on the issue, was anxious, and not functioning to her full capabilities. (Tr. 1375-1378). Another example occurred while he was being questioned about the Institute. More specifically, he refused to disclose the corporate structure of the Institute by invoking his right against self-incrimination under the Fifth Amendment. (Tr. 1089-l 090).

 Dr. Monty has been our advocate since we happened on the phrase "Parental Alienation."  He has worked assiduously in pursuing a just outcome in a child custody battle brought on by a very jealous and mentally ill ex-spouse.  It is no wonder why he has been sought out by thousands from all over the world.

A very fine gentleman, a pussycat but a tiger when necessary, Dr. Monty is nothing but a fine and caring human being.

It has been my privilege to work with Dr. Weinstein over a number of years.  He is a tireless and dedicated advocate for the rights of children to be connected with not one, but BOTH, of their parents.  Sought by mothers and fathers across the nation for his knowledge, experience, and passion, Dr. Weinstein helps parents who are being villified and crucified by angry and abusive ex-spouses.  He helps parents "even the odds" when they have been abused and bankrupted through the family law system.  He is an outspoken critic of the "status quo" in the family law courts.  Dr. Weinstein fights unethical and abusive methods used by parties and advocates, educating parens who have been "beaten down" by money, power, abuse, cronyism, and apathy. 

Many parents and children across the county owe their relationships to this man, and his zeal.  I have seen many situations where he is the only thing holding up a broken parent, giving them hope and encouragement that they DESERVE, and have a

RIGHT, to a relationship with their children. 

Dr. Weinstein has for years dedicaed a portion of his practice to help people in need.  Compared to experts in other areas of law, such as personal injury and criminal, his rates are incredibly low, and he always has a sympathetic ear to those in financial distress.  

The most incredible thing is he is not intimidated when psychiatrists, psychologists, attorneys, and others vested in the system criticize and attack him.  He will not back down when mud is slung at him, like happened in this posting. 

Thank God for Dr. Weinstein, and that there are some people in the country like him who will stand up for the rights of parents.  

Sonny you are a major a****** for your lies and writing this bogus crap about me and  Dr Monty who had helped you for FREE and you had told Dr Monty that in fact it was John Middleton posting that garbage about him  even his wife Irene said that you both are scaming people using NCCR as a front you know what Middleton has pulled charging people $4000 fee to join the coalition among other fees he scamed me thousands of dollars for PI's now he's holding the findings/reports for ransom failing to do any work on cases that Coalition Civil Rights charged which is not a noneprofit at all as it was told by Johns wife that it's all a front he has been scaming people "victims" as his wife put it for years! 

I applaud Dr Monty Weinstein and his support,  he has been working on my case for 4 years  the best expert in my case proving Parental Alienation  Dr Monty has written the book on the issue how these mental abusive mothers destroy our childrens lifes. 

You know well Sonny what that scumbag John Middleton has been pulling scaming people out of tens of thousands of dollars for false work he never did just as he did in scaming me out of tens of thousands dollars.

The individual who filed that completely erroneous report is either an alienator or an attorney or psychologist that Dr. Monty Weinstein impeached in court.

Dr. Weinstein has been a tireless advocate for families and children for over 50 years. Sutherland was a client not a co-worker and whether or not Dr. Weinstein has a summer home (purchased by his wife btw) is a non-issue as far as his professionalism and integrity are concerned. His credentials are impeccable and he is a National Board Certified Family Therapist. 

The anonymous poser I mean poster should look in the mirror as far as being a liar. Dr. Weinstein has helped countless parents many pro bono to reunite after the devastating consequences of false allegations during divorce actions. Obviously the poser I mean poster was up to some misdeeds and Dr. Monty Weinstein probably exposed him.

Shame on you for publishing false accusations against this most honorable man. Dr. Weinstein is the leading EXPERT (qualified by judges in 50 states) on parental alienation.

I have just read the Ripoff report on Dr. Monty Weinstein dated Nov. 15, 2013, that named me as a co-con man, by some unknown person.

Whom I strongly suspect is no other than Alex Ekstra, a known co-man from the Diamond industry on 47th Street in New York City.

He pretends to be a nice guy, until things don't go his way.

1. I did try to assit him with a landlord/tenant matter but he put his own sping on it, and when it came to my attention that he had falsified documents. I had to leave him alone, also

2. I was trying to work with him to get custody and/or visitation with his children, after reading his court papers. I found out that he had tapped his children to a chair in the basememt. After that, I couldn't assit him anymore, and the fact that he was stealing his customer's jewerly.

Alex is a internet complainer which he create's falsehoods on people that don't do as he say's. His postings have gone to the point of him getting arrested and he might still be on probation in White Plains, New York.

Anyone that knows him, knows not to believe him. I dont hate or dislike him. I wish he would GET SOME HELP!

I Thank Ripoof Report for the chance to expose his short commings and the truth...

Also, I'm hoping that Ripoff Report implements some sort of screening process....
