Dr Bharat Pithadia was our family doctor for several years. IT WAS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE WE EVER MADE. You can see my other review about what he did to my wife. Here is what he did to me:

Under Dr Pithadias care I went from under 300 lbs to well over 450 lbs. I don't know what my exact weight was because few health facilities could weigh me but at 6 ft my waist size was 68 inches. I had told Dr Pitadia for some time I thought I had a thyroid problem. I frequently supplied him with reports on thyroid but he dismissed them and told me my thyroid test readings were "HIGH" so thyroid was not the answer. IN FACT, I found later that,  my TSH test reading were "high". A "HIGH" TSH reading means an UNDER ACTIVE THYROID or hypothyroidism, IE: LOW THYROID. Dr Pithadia did not know that. Prescribing thyroid was EXACTLY what I needed. Dr Pithadia sent me to an endocrinologist. His test showed I had an under active Pituitarry gland, ALSO KNOW AS SECONDARY HYPOTHYROIDISM. Suplimenting my thyroid was EXACTLY what I needed but Dr Pithadia told me that "It would be innapropriate to give me thyroid medication because it might cause heart palpitations". LIKE THE 450 POUNDS isn't causing any problems.

I visited a therapist that actually shared Dr Pithadias waiting room for severe depression. After a few visits I mentioned my thyroid and he told me that the symptoms of hypothyroidism, LOW thyroid, and those of depression were nearly identical. I told him of Dr Pithadias refusal to give me thyroid and the concoction of antidepressants Dr Pithadia had had me on and he told me to find a new Dr. I did. I visited Dr Mannakis and he did test showing my thyroid and testosterone were very low. He said he was surprised I was even able to function. He put me on a HIGH dose of thyroid and got my T back on track. Within a year I felt better and was at just under 300 pounds.

In my opinion Dr Pithadia ruined my life, my wifes life and severely alter the lives of our children due to his negligence and ignorance. There are records to prove all of these things so I invite Dr Pithadia to sue me for slander if he thinks these statements are false but since they are NOT FALSE he has no grounds.

I filed a seperate report about what Dr Pithadia did to my wife if you care to read it but basically he was under medicating me while ridiculously OVER medicating my wife on an anti depressant / anti anxiety drug buffet that included 40mg of Paxil, 350 mg of Wellbutrin ans ALL THE XANAX SHE COULD EAT,...ALL AT THE SAME TIME. My wifes mind is permanently altered as a result and her behaviour on those drugs will haunt her and I the rest of our lives.

Use Dr Pithadia at your own risk and peril. Based solely on what he did to my wife, my family and myself people of good conscience should avoid him on general principal alone. Please, I beg of you, DO NOT CONSIDER THIS HACK a doctor. He fried my wifes mind with mega doses of anti depressants and allowed me to balloon to close to 500 pounds due to his ignorance and negligence. DON'T TAKE a chance with your life and if you know anybody that is seeing Dr Pithadia tell them to check out some reports. He TALKS a VERY good story. Always very amiable with a broad smile but behind that smile lies a real monster in my opinion.

If you wonder why we don't sue it's because the state of indiana gutted medical malpractice lawsuits so they are hardly worth persuing and they cut the lawyers contingency fee from 33% to 15% of the award so even if they win they get less than half the percentage they would get in a slip and fall case against a grocery store and there is a limit in medical malpractice cases where there is no limit if you slip on a grape in a grocery store. The medical lobby has seen to that. The same medical lobby that bribes the FDA to pass poison off as medicine.
