There will be rebuttals to this report - so let me take care of them first.

1. "It's not for everybody": It's really not for anybody. Many of the practices are illegal.

2. "If you don't make it its because you are lazy:" Right, because it takes so much effort to go door to door, or sit in the entrance of various stores, pushing the store's credit card on the patrons. More likely you didn't "make it" because you couldn't afford to "make it." Pizza delivery drivers work as hard and subject themselves to much more danger, mailmen too. The only difference is they get compensated for their work - they don't get paid in false promises.

3. "What did you expect? 100K your first week on the job and a luxury suite with a massaging chair?": This is a funny one. Nice little spin to put on people who quit because they weren't making enough money. The truth is you can barely put food in your mouth when you work for these companies.

4. "They handle high-class clients": Interestingly enough, they have accounts with businesses that are run using methods that DS-Max bashes - ie the "corporate hierarchy." Funny how they end up working for them after all. On another note, the companies can get away with hiring scumbags like DS-Max because they are an independant agency that works in small local markets. If everybody knew up front what DS-Max was doing the whole thing would come crashing down.

5. "Its a great opportunity!" Right. I just looked up my manager who I worked for over two years ago. Everyone said he was making 6 figures back then. But I knew it was BS cause he drove a friggin jeep wrangler! And I just found out that he is still renting a property that cost the owner $39,000!!! And he has a wife that works!!!! Two incomes and he probably only pays $600 - $800 in rent at most!

WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!!!!

It's a big siphon straight to murray's wallet.

Perception is fact

you can call my title another ds-max drone if you like. Slave/ Cultist / brainwashed whatever the case may be, but when I see all the things written from cydcor to ds- max and all the other things pertaining to the company or any of the independent offices it seems that it boils down to this simple point. Perception is fact. The experiences that you may have had determine how you see it. Todd / Jim and many others I feel truly sorry that you had the experiences that have brought you to the feelings you have, and the way you see things is exactly the way they are. Furthermore it's sucks that unfortunately for our business every office is independently owned and operated, and that in life all people definately are not nice, considerate or even integritable. I have experienced first hand in my own location. For a little background on me, I have been with this business for 8.5 years before cydcor, when granton had really no decent clients, and products really sucked in the product division. I was the guy who ran a terrible office for many years. It wasn't so much that I wanted to hurt and ruin people's lives. I just didn't do the right things running a location. I made good $$$ as an owner then went out and got drunk off my a$$ every night, at the age of 19 making decent money, and way to immature to be responsible as a business owner. This in turn as well as other issues made me as an owner not a very good one. I can only imagine what people thought of me, and percieved my business as back then. Scam ? absolutely ! Cult? I don't think so I don't do the chants and all the juice groupie things. I didn't like it when I started in the business so I changed it as an owner. All in all though I never wanted people to feel the way the did cheated, scammed or whatever, but me personal I didn't care about people the way I thought I did. If I could do things over things would have been alot different. Was I an evil person? I don't think so. Irresponsible for the people that counted on me? Yes! I affected quite a few people's lives. I don't think as bad as some people on here say, but maybe I did. All I know at this point is that if I had a second chance with alot of those people today 8 years later alot of their perception of my business would be alot different. By far I am no superstar with in ds-max, but I do run a successful office. I have some outside promotions. I don't promote I make millions or hundreds of thousands, but my wife doesn't work. My beautiful 16 month old daughter who is my pride and joy will live comfortably. In conclusion if you asked me I have been both the bad and the good and see both sides of the fence. To be the successful one you have to understand the role you play as an owner. You have people that put their future in your hands and trust you to help them get where they want to be. That's a huge responsibility that took me many years to realize. For all the people that felt bad that have worked with me through the years I am truly sorry. I understand and value these days the responsibility that I have chosen to accept, and if someone came into my office today I am sure they would have a different opinion of my business compared to 8 years ago. Truly for me it has been a ride of a life time and I value all the experiences on life I have gained. Today I am a better person for being in the business. Unfortunately you could not have had the good experience that I have had.

1.Jaw bones - they talk about what everybody is doing wrong/right/they just like to hear their own voice. yes they certainly do, every second it was "if your doing this, you'll make money for yourself and us". "if your not doing this, your a lazy bum". "your negging out, if you did this, you would get money" 2.Knuckle bones - they knock down what other people are trying to do. yes they certainly do, i remember my best friend being verbally abused and belittled by the owner because he wanted to go to university and get a degree, and not be that cash cow the owner wanted. 3.Back bones- they bet under the project, whatever it is and get the work DONE. They do not complain, judge or whine . . . true, this is the only good quality about the company, it gives people the confidence and determination to do things, unfortunatly unless you wise up to the mindgames and leave, what you'll be doing is being a good little cow. once i relised it was all a cultist scam i used the confidence and determination to walk out on my a**hole of an owner

You would think that with all the "money" floating around the DS-Max empire that damage control would be a bit better. Apparently its just the same old BS. Lets do this point by point: 1. "Are you a pizza delivery guy?? Or was that your LAST job??" A: No it was not my last job. But it was far more gratifying when I knocked on someone's door delivering a product that they actually wanted. It was also a comfort to know that I had an EMPLOYER who cared for my well being and refused to send me into areas where I was likely to be assualted. Another great thing about it was that I could afford the car I used. Another bonus was that when I took that job my EMPLOYER was straight up with me about what I was likely to make based on REAL FIGURES not bullshit. (How many owners are in the BIZ? Is it still 14,000 like it was two years ago?) 2. "You must have been one of the people that sounded good but was obviously a pain in the a*s nobody likes to work with people like you good riddance!!" A: What do you mean by "Pain in the a*s?" I rang bells, I made my owner money. And if it was "obvious" then why was I given the "opportunity"? I currently work for a law firm that represents ALCOA among others. Apparently somebody likes to work with "people like me." 3. "There are 3 types of bones: Jaw bones - they talk about what everybody is doing wrong/right/they just like to hear their own voice Knuckle bones - they knock down what other people are trying to do. Back bones- they bet under the project, whatever it is and get the work DONE. They do not complain, judge or whine . . ." A: I don't want to get into an anatomy lesson with you, but any intelligent person uses their brain. Anybody who has one in their head can clearly see through your petty attempts to insult those who do not agree with you. Use and abuse your bones all you want - without a brain they are a pile of rubble. Good luck, "RHINO"

But if you are going to respond in this forum again - please keep in mind that this is the wrong forum for an impact. This is not your atmosphere room with tons of poor leaders trained to applaud any thing that you say that might help promote the business. We don't have to do that any more. We have learned and we hope that you do to. Many of have used your type of anolgies and done those impacts before. And now your sayings make us want to puke. Good Luck!

Rebecca, your response is typical of all the other filthy SHILLS for DS-MAX who infest this website. You think your pithy metaphors and aphorisms make a worthy substitute for the truth. And the truth is that DS-MAX employees are nothing more than beggars and thieves! You think that making money like you want to one day measures your contributions to society? Think again, missy! There are drug dealers who make more money than you. Is that good? I'm sorry. It's not fair to compare DS-MAX drones to drug dealers. IT'S NOT FAIR TO THE DRUG DEALERS! Ha ha. POWWWW! Some HAMMERTIME for you, you ignorant chippie. You forgot to mention MY bone, which you'll find yourself chewing on if you come begging at MY house! WOOF WOOF!

INTERESTING ..You certainly wouldn't have been hired at our office.

Are you a pizza delivery guy?? Or was that your LAST job?? You certainly wouldn't have been hired at our office. You must have been one of the people that sounded good but was obviously a pain in the a*s nobody likes to work with people like you good riddance!! At our office we do not "barely put food on the table" AND we do NOT hire P.I.T.A. like you! As for your manager driving a jeep wrangler and renting a less expensive property, maybe he was SAVING his money . . .or maybe he was a new manager and beacause he was wasting time with people like you he wasn't earning what he should! I am sure he learned his lesson. To all others : There are 3 types of bones: Jaw bones - they talk about what everybody is doing wrong/right/they just like to hear their own voice Knuckle bones - they knock down what other people are trying to do. Back bones- they bet under the project, whatever it is and get the work DONE. They do not complain, judge or whine . . . what type of bones make up your infrastructure?
