Ecampus.com Buyback offer is a scam Lexington Kentucky
I sent in my textbook to the buyback department in early August, 2008, with a promise of processing in 4-6 weeks. The check never arrived. In the beginning of October, I called the company, got a "heartfelt apology", was reassured that the order had been processed and that a supervisor would be contacted to issue my check immediately. A check never arrived. 3 weeks later, I called to speak with a supervisor and was told that the receptionist was unable to transfer me (surprise!), but that a supervisor would call me back. Big surprise that nobody has contacted me yet. More emails have gone unanswered, no phone calls have been returned. How do I receive my money? More importantly, how can I spread the the word that this company has turned to scams? I have been buying and selling with them for years and have never had this type of experience. I will never again even buy from them.
