Our AT&T bill arrived with a charge of $16.11 attributed to ESBI LLC. Yesterday, I called the 888 number and spoke to a woman by the name of "Leny" who sounded foreign. She told me I must have requested this service from an e-mail we received.
I told her there was no way either I or my husband would order this service on-line and then tell you to bill it to our home phone. I demanded that she credit my account immediately. She said it would take 1 to 2 billing cycles before it would be applied. I told her that it was not acceptable and I wanted an immediate refund. She said she would send me a credit confirmation, but I have not received one yet.
I am contacting AT&T today and hopefully they will be able to take this off my account. How can these people continue to operate without being prosecuted? I also blame the phone companies who routinely allow 3rd parties to charge to your phone bill. This service has nothing to do with my phone! I am so livid that I want to get rid of my land line!!
