 Empire Carpet installed 3 rooms of carpeting in our house. In less than a year the seams started to buckle. Following the seam under the sofa we noted that a large tack had been driven through the carpet and into the floor.After several phone calls and e mailing pictures we received a date for a repairer to arrive. The first appt. they went to the wrong address. We made a 2ND appt. They called that day and said someone called in sick, they couldn't come. We made a 3rd appt. The repairer called and said his truck broke down he couldn't come. A call to customer service said he had a family emergency. Someone lied. We rescheduled a 4th time with a promised first appt. of the day. A call to customer service mid morning said the would arrive between 9am and 11am. A call at 11:30 said we didn't have an appointment at all. Requested to speak to supervisor after supervisor. Finally got "Pia..I'm only required to give you my first name." She gave no indication she cared a whit. Her apologies were insincere her tone cold and abrupt, borderline rude. We ended up making a 5th appt. because what choice did we have? I told her the truth....Empire has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with.
