After multiple attempts at a resolution, the installer did finally come and and reinstall the floor properly. The first time theu came to fix it they didnt have enough materials. the second time they showed up when it was not scheduled, and the thir time they finally did it.
Im glad that the finally replaced the floor but all in all not a very good experience, and the only reason that they did it was because their people had left messages on our voicemail and we had saved them all proving whatb they said became invaluable.

After this report was posted we received numerous calls. Until about January 2010 when the calls stopped being returned. After the independent review determined that Empire should replace the floors, and they promised that they would, and then the calls stopped.
We have made a couple of follow up calls since and now receive no responses. I cannot spend my life trying to get these people to own up to what they promised us. However beware before buying anything from them.
In the time since I posted this report the floors have only gotten increasingly worse and will need to be completely replaced soon enough. They overcharge for convenience, slapped it together in a slipshod manner and then made apologies and promises for now over two years.

Empire did the same to me, we had rugs put in our house & I ask the group of 3 guys a question about the rugs and they didn't speek english. I'm all about people coming here to improve their lives but a BIG company like this needs at least one person who speeks english with the group of guys. My problem could have been fixed that day. My rugs came apart from where the peiced them together, they left a SCREW DRIVER under the rug and now the rugs look like they are pulling away from the wall. Maybe they weren't stapled enough? I don't know but they run a BAD,BAD business and they think its a joke when they have to come out to take our rug up to get their screw driver. these rugs were not worth the money at all! I just wanted to let you know your not the only person who doesn't like their work!
