Enhanced Services Billing, Inc. & Blue Dog Online Slamming by adding charges to my Verizon phone account San Antonio Texas
I received my latest phone bill and noticed a charge for $14.95. When I called the phone company to see what this was I was told it was a charge from a third party vendor - they couldn't do anything about it, I had to contact the other party directly. Long story short I was being billed for voice mail and email (for my home phone) starting in June by Blue Dog Online through a company called Enhanced Services Billing, Inc. I had never heard of neither company.
When I finally found a phone number while googling them on line, I was told that my husband signed up for the service, which is totally untrue. This was also interesting to me since my husband isn't on the phone account and would have no authorization through Verizon to add any services. I told the Representative, who identified himself as Carl Felipe, that I wanted my name and number removed from all their records, a refund of all alleged usage or I would sue them for fraud and told him about the other people I had seen on your website that had been ripped off. He assured me they would refund my account and place my number on their do not call list. We'll see how it works out.
I noticed a very in depth repeat of my experience on a website called sharingthesecretoflife.blogspot.com. We'll see if I get my money back -- I can't understand how anyone can contact a phone provider and simply tell them to add this to someone's bill. Why aren't they required to confirm that with the account owner?
