I normally would not post on this particular site, i love it for reference, it's great. However, i just wanted to add to the complaints about Enterprise.
On a very cold morning I went to Enterprise to pick up the car i had reserved for the weekend (thanksgiving wknd). I was driving 4 hours south to Douglas GA. The gentleman walked around the car, inspected it, as they always do, made a few small comments and i signed my name agreeing. It was 7:30 am in Atlanta in the cold. I can only hope that the gentleman that was helping me made a mistake, but he did not note a very large "ding" in the side door. I arrived at my mother's the sun was out, and it (the ding) was very visible. Knowing that i had not stopped i knew that it was there previously.
Upon returning the vehicle my normal in and out turned into a big to-do about this "ding" he sits me down say he is going to have to file a report with my insurance company, etc. I was so angry, i explained to him that it was already there, and he did everything but call me a liar.
He starts to peck away at his computer and says "oh" i see that there was already a claim or report (i cannot remember which it was) filed with regards to this "ding" I never said another word to the man, i just walked out.
Save yourself the headache. Who wants to spend their whole trip worrying about the effects of a "ding".
First and last time renting from Enterprise. I swear by ******. I have never had an unpleasant experience.
If you must rent from Enterprise, as i had to that one time, check EVERY detail.
