Enterprise Rent-A-Car Return me the money as you promised in the first place!!! Berkeley, California
SUPER AWFUL service!!! My friends and I went to Yosemite for a few days and rented a Ford vehicle from them on Dec 2009. we were supposed to return the rented vehicle on Sat before noon, but the car broke down on our way back to Berkeley on Friday night around 6:00pm at a gas station a little bit outside the park. That was a freezing night with no cellphone signal and no one there but a paid phone. We called Enterprise for help. They asked us to wait for them and they were going to send a technician to check out the car in 30 mins. After 45 mins in a freezing area, we called them again and found out they did not assign any technician to come because they are already closed. They assigned us the closest motel to stay the night and promised us there will be a technician coming to fix the vehicle the next morning and all the fee for staying in the hotel will be covered. The next morning at around 11:00am, the technician came and fixed the car. It was not totally fixed, but he told us it will be okay to drive back to Berkeley. Since 1 hour won't make us back from Yosemite to Berkeley to return the car. They closed at noon. We returned the car on Monday 7:30am. They charged us a LATE FEE and REFUSED to reimburse the hotel fee!!! We called them several times trying to resolve the issue, they hung up our calls and asked us to talk to the District Manager who never call us back! My friend who rented the car was an exchange student and had to return back to his country in the following month. They refused to talk to me since I am not the guy doing business with them. This is the WORST car rental place ever. I will never do business again with these DISHONEST people!
