Enterprise Rent A Car False accusation for light long scratch to rental vehicle.Asking money.... North Brunswick, New Jersey
My 2 years old car hit by a truck.So,I got a rental car and my car was placed in body shop for repair. I got a rental car from enterprise on US130 North Brunswick. When I reached there,the branch manager politely said we do not have any cars available and the only one left is Chevy HHR.When I looked at the car.It was very dirty from inside and outside.I told him I am getting late for office so I will take Chevy HHR but I need replaced by evening or tomm.He said OK.
The car smell like hell but I took to office.I checked other enterprise location and since no car available so I called the North brunswick location again.The lady said please come we will get you chevy impala. When I reached there and told branch manager that I have to go back to office so please get me car asap.The branch manager told me that we have booked impala but we will get chevy malibu.I said ok.They brought car to front door.The car was dirty from outside but from inside it was good. The driver door was open.
The branch manager asked me to initialize the paper.I thought its for fuel since he didn't ask me to take walk through. Also,he didn't offer me CDW. Since I was getting late,I took car and left.After 1 week I got call from enterprise center,the car is due for service please come and get a new car.They said we will get you best car. When I went there,the branch manager directly went to drivers door and said there is scratch and blamed me. The scratch was so thin and at the bottom of door that its hardly visible.The scratch was long and its difficuilt for any person to find out.I asked another executive,he didn;t able to see.
I told branch manager,he didn't listen to me and said very rudely that we have to document it. He went inside and started documenting in computer.He didn't even bother to discuss further.He tried to take print but printer didn't work so he got frustrated.He asked another executive to take care of me and get me another car.The other executive got me another car and when I was about to leave branch manager came and rudely gave me claim number and went inside.
This is the worst service I ever receive from Enterprise.I will not recommend to anyone. All this situation looks fishy to me so I reached to regional officer but he also didn't bother to consider anything and asked me to pay 297 USD. The car dirty from outside,driver door open and scratch at the bottom of door,all this looks fishy but noone is ready to listen to me
This is very disappointing.From last 3 years I am regular customer of enterprise and this is worst experience.I spend 1 week in such a pain and finally I understand its a trap. I thought I will get justice from corporate but no use. I am posting here to make people aware of the problem I faced and take extra precaution.Also,I plea to corporate to provide me proper justice.
