Eric Tavares "DJ ELUV" with Next Level DJ Service has obviously created a false referral/reference portfolio and may have never even dj a wedding!!!! Do not use him! We hired him to dj are wedding ceremony and reception..get this..he played "Country Roads" by John Denver when our parents walked in (a little different from Celine dion) he then announced my bridesmaids as they came down the aisle??? Seriously??? ELUV..it's a wedding....And to top it off he didn't pronounce the names correctly..and even better, he played "Here comes the Bride", a song I didn't want played for me...TWICE..because the first time his timing was off...oh, and he didn't bother testing the equiptment at the rehearsal so we were short a mic for my duet singers...and he played the song version with words for them...this guy was a joke..and to really make us understand his level of customer satisfaction..it is a month later and he has accepted responsibility for his actions and promised a partial refund that he has already 1. promised and not delievered and 2. no longer feels he needs to talk about or pay back....I guess it wasn't his wedding that was screwed up....DO NOT USE THIS DJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if i had it to do again, i would have rather dj it myself

My name is Eric Tavares, owner of the very successful company Next Level DJ Service. I'm here specifically to respond the the RipOff Report filed by Krista, the bride of the wedding I did 3 years ago.
First and foremost, these specific individuals hired my company to do their Wedding Ceremony, as well as their reception. I will take responsibility for a couple of specifics that I did not get exactly right, with one of my mics going out...and playing the wrong song for a particular part of the wedding. For this, I was truly sorry and willing to compensate the wedding couple half of their total amount back. But before I ever got the chance to do that, they filed this so called RipOff Report trying deliberately to slander my company.
My credentials are real and can be proven, that I have been DJ'ing weddings, clubs, corporate events, fashion show, and celebrity events for over 20 yrs. I've also been a radio personality on 4 radio stations in the Charlotte market, and am well known to deliver the highest level of entertainment. Nothing I have either on my website or on any social networks linked to it, are false.
If you look at my track record with the Better Business Bureau, I have 1 negative report, out of 200-300 events. The record speaks for itself, and I'm only here to (clarify) why this report was written in the first place.
I know I wasn't perfect that day, and am not trying to make excuses, but I am reliable, and have very credible references from completely satisfied clients that refer me on a constant basis. I have built this company from the ground up, and will give you the chance to view my referrals yourself.

Dear Rip Off Report Readers: It has come to my unsuspecting attention that there has been a formal complain levied against my Profession DJ Service. I am refutting this claim in writing to (Protect the Integrity) of my DJ Service. Next Level DJ Service was initially approached to extend my services to a Krista last November 2006, but she was looking for a (MC) to do her wedding ceremony & reception. In fact, she was actually looking for someone to just play their wedding music on a (laptop)...and take the least expensive route for their entertainment. Upon meeting her and her current husband, I had convinced her to use a professional for an event so meaningful. The problem in her wedding ceremony came about as a result of miscommunication, (NOT THE INABILITY) for my company to perform the wedding reception. I have a very respectable venture that I launched in 2005, and have not received any other complaints outside of hers. My clientele is very professional, and I have referrals to prove so. Anyone who knows me or my company can tell you that I've been a professional Radio Personality / Producer and Audio Engineer for over 20 years. I've also been on tour with some of the most respected music artist of this decade. The companies listed on my website are up to date and very credible. I know it is my best interest to speak with her directly to finally put an end to this negative campaign she seemingly is obsessed with. But ultimately, I would appreciate it if the Rip Off Report would, report my claim and/or remove hers from your on line data. I is my sincere goal to run a respectable company with the highest level of integrity.
